We tailor support to each Young Person’s unique needs, starting with a strength-based assessment before they arrive at Palm House - identifying their passions, who they love, and what excites them to shape a foundation for care.
Staff adopt a trauma-informed lens to interpret behaviours in the context of past experiences, adjusting responses to build trust and resilience.
Therapeutic interventions, such as PACE, art, music and drama, provide diverse avenues for expression and healing, tailored to conditions like ADHD, trauma, or attachment difficulties.
We will ensure that we do everything in our power to give each Young Person and our teams the tools they need, to enable them to effectively work through all barriers.

We partner with a local school who secure education tailored to each child’s age and ability, collaborating with us to access suitable provision, including Education, Health, and Care Plans where required, or exploring in-house learning if external options are impractical or facilities develop.
Our staff provide hands-on support with schoolwork, adapting to learning difficulties through patience and encouragement, while fostering life skills like budgeting, cooking, and self-care to prepare young people for independence—whether transitioning to family, foster care, or their own accommodations.
We stimulate development through leisure and fun, offering recreational activities like arts, sports, and outings that build confidence and social skills, aligned with their interests and care plan goals. Regular discussions ensure their educational and developmental needs are met, looking ahead to future aspirations while nurturing a sense of dignity and potential in a caring environment. This holistic support empowers them to grow into young adults ready for their next steps.
